She messaged me for a mini tour and Tsumami-zaiku class!
I first took her to Kanda myojin shrine whchi is for bussiness.
It was a beautiful sunny day so she was able to see the Tokyo Skytree as well!! *on the right, there is the Skytree;)
I showed her how to rinse hands and mouth,  to entre the shrine, to walk and pray!!
Then we visited another shrine called Yushima Tenmangu shrine which is known for studying. Many students come here for their exam or entering university, high school.
I came here when I had a national exam to be a Dietitian as well!
She was actually very lucky!! The weather was perfect. And there was a monkey:)

We enjoyed it!!
Then finally went back to my place for Tsumami-zaiku:)

She came for the Calligraphy and Origami class:)

She chose 旅 trip which is one of the most popular words at Wakalture:)
It’s not easy to control the brush angle as it’s a habit. But she was very good at it!! See the pic above, that’s the perfect angle!!

Then she did Origami:)
Made crane, Christmas tree and Pikachu!!

Jonnas without glasses, he lives in Tokyo and he booked the Udon making and Calligraphy class for his dad, Orian as he visited him:)
As you may see from the pictures, they were so funny!!lol
And Jonnas was very good at Calligraphy!!
He chose 数学 math, it’s two kanji and both are not easy kanji,,, but he said he wanted to try.
Then he made it!! He didn’t even know the kanji but he did a great job!!
Orian wrote 雪 snow:)

Then made Udon noodle as well:)
I told them especially  Orian saying “Itadakimasu” before eating.
Itadakimasu means like bon appetit.
Thank you for the meal, thank you for serving (if it’s in a restaurant), for growing flour etc,,, for everything!!

Annika, she messaged me on WhatsApp for 2 days of Advanced Calligraphy class!!
She speaks Japanese, knows some of kanji and has done Calligraphy once before.

So I was planning to teach one kanji 永 on the first day. Then another kanji next day.
But she tried sooooo hard and couldn’t finish on the first day!! I guess most of people get bored and can’t practicing one kanji but she spent 2 days to finish one kanji😲✨✨✨ She also knows she still needs more practice😉

Calligraphy paper is white but she made it black with the ink😂

I really hope to teach her again next year as she comes to Japan every year!!
